Exciting Update: Cambodia Launches e-Arrival Scheme Starting July 1, 2024
We are excited to announce a significant update for all travellers heading to Cambodia! Starting next month, Cambodia will implement the new e-Arrival (CeA) scheme to streamline and enhance the arrival process for tourists, expats, and Cambodian nationals.
What You Need to Know:
Mandatory Online Application:
All arrivals, including those holding a valid visa, must complete an online e-immigration application within 7 days before arrival. This application can be completed via the new mobile app, available at www.arrival.gov.kh.
Step-by-Step Process:
- Registration: Travelers register by taking a photo and uploading their passport information.
- Complete E-Arrival Card: This step replaces the old paper-based immigration, health, and customs declaration forms.
- Generate QR Code: After completing the application, a QR code will be generated. Travellers should save this QR code on their phones or present a printout to be submitted to immigration.
– In Case of Technical Issues: If travellers are unable to complete the process beforehand, tablets will be provided at immigration so that visitors can go through the application on-site.
– No Charges: The official website assures that there is no charge for registering. It is completely free for all travellers to fill in the e-Arrival Card through the official website or mobile application.
