MeetSadie Carnes
Sadie is a dynamic and driven student at Northeastern University, where she’s studying Psychology with minors in Marketing and Behavioral Neuroscience. With her love for learning, connecting with others, and exploring the world, she’s the perfect addition to our Destination TEFL Ambassador team!

Sadie Carnes's Story
🌍 Wanderlust at Heart:
Sadie’s travels have taken her to some of the most breathtaking places in the world. Her most memorable trip? Switzerland in the fall, which she describes as “serene and breathtaking.” If she could teleport anywhere right now, she’d head straight back to Florence, Italy, where she studied abroad. (We’re already dreaming of pasta and gelato just hearing about it!)
🗺️ Bucket List Explorer:
Sadie’s travel bucket list is as adventurous as she is. Top of her list? Australia, Norway, Mallorca (Spain), and Indonesia. With her love for exploring new cultures and landscapes, we know she’ll be checking these off in no time.
📚 Academic All-Star:
As a Psychology major with minors in Marketing and Behavioral Neuroscience, Sadie is passionate about understanding people and helping them thrive. If she could create a class about something she loves, it would be all about the science of well-being and stress, combining personal growth, neuroscience, and psychology. (We’d definitely enroll!)
🌟 Campus Leader:
Sadie is deeply involved in her campus community. She’s a member of three clubs: Women’s Lacrosse, Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, and the Food Recovery Network. Whether she’s on the field, building connections in her sorority, or giving back to her community, Sadie knows how to make an impact.
👥 Social Butterfly:
With a strong presence on LinkedIn and a knack for staying in touch with friends, family, coworkers, and bosses, Sadie is a natural networker. She’s the kind of person who brings people together and makes everyone feel welcome.
🍽️ Foodie with Boundaries:
While Sadie loves trying new things, eel didn’t quite make the cut. (We don’t blame her—some foods are just too adventurous!)
🏝️ Desert Island Essentials:
If Sadie were stranded on a desert island, she’d bring her journal (with never-ending pages, of course), her Spotify playlist to keep her company, and her trusty hammock for maximum relaxation. Sounds like the perfect island getaway to us!
🌟 Dinner with a Legend:
If Sadie could have dinner with any historical figure, she’d choose Amelia Earhart—not just because Amelia paved the way for women in aviation, but because Sadie happens to be related to her! (How cool is that?!)
🎤 Life Swap Dreams:
For a day, Sadie would swap lives with either a nature photographer (to explore the world’s most stunning landscapes) or a musician/artist on concert day (to experience the thrill of life behind the scenes). Either way, she’s all about living life to the fullest!
🧘♀️ Weekend Vibes:
Sadie’s perfect weekend? A mix of relaxation and adventure. She’d start with a workout, try a new breakfast spot with friends, take a walk along the Charles River, and then either unwind with a movie night or explore more of Boston. (Can we join?!)
⛳ Secret Skill Alert:
Here’s a fun fact about Sadie: she’s a mini golf pro! Whether she’s sinking putts or exploring the world, she’s always up for a challenge—and a good time.
Sadie’s passion for travel, learning, and connecting with others makes her the perfect Destination TEFL Ambassador. We can’t wait to see how she’ll inspire others to explore the world through teaching!
Welcome to the team, Sadie! 🌟
