What is a TEFL certification?

A TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) certification shows schools you have been properly trained to teach English to non-native students. The vast majority of schools around the world list a TEFL or TESOL certification as a requirement for employment.

More importantly (to us at least), a proper TEFL training gives you the tools and confidence you need to truly make an impact in your students’ lives!

Is it possible to teach English in Thailand?

YES!

Teachers are always in high demand here in Thailand. English opens up so many doors, and the kingdom is increasing its investment in English education every year.

Teaching allows you to experience all the amazing things Thailand has to offer, while also making a positive difference in the lives of those who live here!

What are the requirements to teach in Thailand?

To teach in Thailand you’ll need the following:

A Bachelor’s degree (in ANY subject)
A TEFL Certification
A clean criminal background check
English fluency: this can either be a passport from a native-speaking country OR test scores (IELTS/TOEIC) demonstrating fluency

Can I join the course if I already have an online TEFL?

Yes!

Our TEFL Extension course is designed especially for those with online TEFL certifications.

We’ll refresh your knowledge, give you in-classroom teaching practice with real Thai students, then assist you in finding a teaching position!

Will you help me find a teaching job?

Yes we will!

Finding a job is probably the hardest part about teaching abroad.

Luckily, we have a nation-wide network of schools and educational partners we’ll use to help you find your first teaching position here in Thailand once you finish your course!
